Laser Sighted Slingshots
By James Grahame
I purchased my first slingshot at the tender age of ten. I remember promising the shopkeeper that I wouldn't use it in town -- an easy promise to keep, since I lived half an hour down the road. Back then, the idea of a cheap battery powered laser was the stuff of science fiction. In 2005, everything is laser equipped; laser-sighted carpentry tools are everywhere and annoying little laser pointer keychains are available for next to nothing.
Obviously, the time was right to equip slingshots with laser sights. Precision Shots offers the $49.95 PS-52 -- apparently accurate enough to hit a pencil from 20 feet (not that 20 ft is particularly far). Twenty dollars more gets you the PS-55, which offers adds a red-dot sight to make targeting even more accurate. Just remember: never shoot anything at your sister. I did, and she won't let me forget it.

cheesy version of the Peanuts theme tune as penance for visiting this
