Athena Hi-Fi Speakers: Bargain Priced Hi-Fi

Athena is a Canadian company that's making a name for itself with a range of affordable and high-quality speakers. Their excellent bargain-priced AS-B1.2 bookshelf speakers have started to show up in places like Best Buy, along with one or two of their more expensive floor-standing models.
SoundStage gave the previous version of the $149 AS-B1 a "Reviewer's Choice" award in 2002. I've included a link to their review below, but here's an excerpt from the conclusion: "The fact that Athena offers a properly engineered and well-built speaker for the AS-B1's $149 price is simply astounding. In fact, if I had not known otherwise, I would have guessed the price of the AS-B1 to be at least twice what it is."
