Pixelated Christmas LEGO
By James Grahame
[Here's some festive Scandanavian plastic from our man in the UK, Giles Perkins - Ed.]
Christmas, it's coming and I'm feeling slightly festive.... Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without hours spent pouring over 3D exploded drawings of everything from tractors to trains, and Yoda to yachts. LEGO - you either get it or you don't. I do, big time, and one thing that my years of nimble fingeredness taught me was that when Ikea came on the scene I quickly became a whizz at deciphering their flat pack nonsense too!
Anyway, true to form those crazy Danes have released Holiday Decoration II, pixelated Christmas fare in the form of Santa, an Angel, a Tree, a slightly scary Snowman and a puzzled looking Reindeer. A bargain at £9.00 from the Lego store and a fab way into the biggest and best of proprietary toy building products from Europe. So if you want to give the gift of 3D visualisation this holiday, scoot over to your local LEGO stockist! [Speaking of Christmas spirit, I notice Google has started running holiday themed ads on Retro Thing. Maybe that's why I'm craving eggnog. - Ed.]
