I have been totally obsessed with DAB digital radios lately, probably because DAB service isn't available in my rustic mountain hideaway. Dualit has announced a rather interesting chromed kitchen radio -- I suspect it's available with a silver finish in addition to the Gothic black shown here. Apart from that, the specs are pretty basic - a horrific blue LED backlit display, a single 8W speaker, DAB/FM reception, and 4 hours of rechargeable battery life, just in case you want to take your "kitchen" radio on your next cow-tipping expedition. Available sometime soon at a price approaching £200.
