Stapleless Staplers
By James Grahame
Imagine a stapler that never runs out of staples, because it doesn't use any. OhGizmo just posted a link to a nifty video of the Lihit Number 5 stapler, manufactured by a Japanese company in the late 1980s. It works its magic by cutting and tucking a flap of paper to attach pages together. Alas, these beautiful devices are no longer made. Have no fear, you can still get your hands on a cheap plastic copy for under $6.
