Floppy disks are almost extinct, which is not such a bad thing. They were noisy, slow and error prone -- an evil product of The Dark Side.

Pawel obviously agrees. He re-purposed two old 3.5" floppy drives as a demented duophonic musical instrument. Their head stepper motors are driven by an Arduino. While the result is definitely recognizable, it's not exactly what you'd call high fidelity.
