Few people have heard of it, yet many consider John Blankenbaker's KENBAK-1 to be the first commercial personal computer.

Koss introduced these headphones over 40 years ago, and they remain affordable favorites to this day.

Super 8 and Stereolab

One of the great things about shooting movies with film rather than cheap and cheery video is that the end result often looks more organic and "real." A case in point: our friend Giles Perkins at onSuper8.org shot a quirky short film at the British seaside on Kodachrome. As he proudly announced:

"plinky-plonky euro minimalist electronic exponents Stereolab have linked (via their website) to my short Super 8 film Ironman (which uses their track of the same name)."

It's fantastic to see the lads (and ladettes) in critically acclaimed Stereolab promoting a Super 8 filmmaker this way. Hopefully this leads to great things for Giles. That way, he'll be able to test-drive increasingly rare and expensive retro things for us.
