UK-based woodsmith Martin Legg creates hauntingly beautiful hardwood furniture with a decidedly sci-fi theme. He uses only hand tools and "the aid of a few electrical appliances" to craft his masterpieces. He seems particularly enamored with the Starship Enterprise and makes it his mission to boldly craft replica lamps from solid oak. Each 66 cm long lamp is made to order, so you can request customizations. Legg's creations also include a surprisingly elegant Enterprise coffee table. I wonder if he'd make me a matching Romulan Bird of Prey?
