Few people have heard of it, yet many consider John Blankenbaker's KENBAK-1 to be the first commercial personal computer.

Who Says Robots Can't Be Cute?

Botqueen
The 21st century has been a bit of a disappointment as far as robots go. A Roomba cleaning robot just doesn't compare to the fun you could have with C-3PO or B9 from Lost in Space. Still, I haven't given up hope. And neither has artist Lawrence Northey.

His whimsical robot statues are an irresistible mix of polished brass, aluminum, copper and glass. They come across as the perfect cross between Wallace & Gromit, Futurama and old-school Cylons. They're not cheap, with ray guns starting at around $650 and full characters selling for over $2000. Now if only someone could bring one of these little guys to life.
